The whip used to encourage or communicate with the horse is padded. I do not think it physically hurts the horse but unsure about the mental side as I can't talk their language.
Like everything else, horse racing can be seen as cruelty to animals, so does tobacco, alcohol and casinos to humans, but yet we allow them.
I gamble on horse racing, sports and drink a shit load of alcohol everyday but I enjoy all three.
I will die not wondering.
 
The racing industry has become a crawl and outdated sport. I'm a former horse owner. Mostly took part in dressage. I'm not a fan of racing as so many beautiful creatures are bady injured. We have seen increasing awareness around the racing industry. Horses are such beautiful creatures, they deserve to be treated better.

I still remember the $13k for a 50c unit of the 2003 Melbourne Cup I should have got.
$13k was a lot of money in those days.
Makybe Diva, She's Archie, Jardines Lookout.
I left Jardines's Lookout out of the third placing for the trifecta ticket.
Have not been able to forget that even though I live very comfortably now.

What part of it do you find amusing? Dakota, is a passionate vegan. Who genuinely cares about animals. Like seriously, even if you have no care for animals etc you could have some respect and scroll on. Dakota, is a human with feelings. It takes a brave person to speak out about things that are meaningful to them.

Her gorgeous red dress is latex. As for the shoes, can't say without seeing what they are made from. No handbag in the photo. Leads me to ask, is your reply from an attention seeking arsehole, who gets off on stirring the pot. You can be the first person this sexy lady can try the whip on. Personally I like leather.
