Im guessing there would be a few on here with type 2 diabetes on here.

Does anyone on here take Eleva tablents or the ingredient in those tablets is Sertraline and if so has anyone had side effects from them.

Sounds like its an anti-depressant with some potentially serious side-effects.
See Link is not broken so it has been taken down
So best to stay right away unless prescribed by your doctor

Definitely a conversation to have with your doctor! Sertraline is part of the SSRI family and generally people with DM2 are prescribed non SSRI antidepressants.

If you want to read through some medical journals you can search Link is not broken so it has been taken down
Ooppss i thought they were diabetes meds. Ooppss. Lol.

Anyways the side effects seem to be ya cant finish. Ok if ya young i guess but when it takes longer than an hour of trying ya get worn out. Ha ha.

Yes i have type 2 diabetes and yes i take Sertraline and when i first started taking them at the start of the year a
100mg tablet which would give me hot flushes and my vision would go whitish(hard to explain) and would continue for at least 1 to 2 hours but after a little practice and timing how to use the pills properly i realised that 50mg worked just as good with less side effects and i take them always on an empty stomach and my AMP lady commented on how much better i was performing so maybe take a lesser dose and see how you go

Viagra doesn't work very well with me taking say Zoloft so it's a catch 22 situation...stay off the antidepressants and use viagra and you get hard.....use both and you are limp....this is only concerning me and have no idea about how others cope.
