China has a population 20+ times more than Italy's 60 million population
Italy has recorded 1,050 death and 15,000+ cases.
China is well known for human rights abuses and its militant government oppresses people.
China's government censors its media and makes people disappear for speaking out against the government.

Quarantines and lock downs will not work because they have been tried and done before in the past.
With no vaccine or cure it is unlikely to work because when the bans are lifted the virus will hit back with a vengeance.
More spending on health is needed to prevent future health crisis from occurring in the future.
Americans are going to pay a huge price for the lack of affordable health care for its citizens.
America prides itself about being the richest country with the best technology but 50 million+ people have no access to health care because they can not afford it.
America only has health care available for the rich that can afford to pay $1000+ to get an opinion from a doctor and pay thousands to be treated and get booted out of hospital when their credit card is maxed out.
Big Pharma charges Americans 10 times the price for medicines that can be bought cheaper around the world or just a short trip to Canada.

no, i can't trust china.
but china and south korea have approached the virus with different, but seemingly effective measures.
italy looks like they waited too long.
i'm not sure what's going to happen in australia.
some were upset that we quarantined people on christmas island. FFS
maybe if we had forcibly quarantined all incoming air and sea passengers early on, we would be virus free.
looks like australia is going to follow the italian model.

Government corruption, dishonest, weak leadership, propaganda and political spin to downplay the Corona Virus.
False numbers and under reporting amens the government appear everything in under control and we are handling this crisis well.
It is not good for government to be honest about the true numbers, true extent of the problem.
