The automatic response when trying to see the forums is:

Hello all good day, here are the steps to enter the private forums

Step 1: Become a member of Langtrees.com
Step 2: Make two Blog posts or make one honest review on a advertiser
Step 3: As we moderate we will check your Talkinsex account email if the same and add you to the Talkin Turkey Private Forum
Step 4 Make sure you have a adult avatar on your talkinsex account

But I don't care about Talkin Turkey Private Forum. Can you clarify this?

Step 3: As we moderate Blog comments & reviews we check your email & name to see if you have a dual membership. We then click the Talkin Turkey Private forum membership button and you turn green.

If that does not work out for you, ring Langtrees and ask for Kate the manager and let her know.

In Essence there are now two forums. One public and one private. TT is the private forum. To join the private forum follow the steps Happy Pirate sent you. If you don't want to then you will still have access to the public forum.

You don't have to be a part of it if you don't wish to be, its also got nothing to do with the country of Turkey lol. If you're happy with just with the Public Forum then head on into Chit Chat.

I highly suggest you rename it some else as it's super confusing. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's thought this?

The phrase Talking Turkey is an idiom for "getting to the point" or "talking plainly" or "straight shooting" which is what that part of the forum is for. It's where you can speak more freely and candid.
We do already have hundreds of members that understand, its ok if you didn't get it initially but now you've learned a new thing :)
 
Thanks, must admit never heard of it. Looked it up and it's an American/Canadian term.

Shooting straight would have been cool.
 
I just signed up to learn and contribute. The steps seemed pretty straightforward and easy. It’s good to ‘screen’ for watchers vs contributors I guess. And yeah talking turkey is better than Double Dutch 😜
