Canberra definitely isn't for everyone, but those of us that have chosen to make this lovely little city our home enjoy its little quirks. The lake is a beautiful place to go for a walk around on a nice brisk morning. Beauty comes alive when the spring flowers start popping up everywhere (not to mention, floriade). It’s no where near as chaotic as the bigger cities.. but that’s kind of what makes it so nice? There are little gems hidden everywhere if you know where to look. Nice little cafes, walking trails in the mountains and even hidden through the city, exhibitions, that sort of thing.
But even those of us who live here must be missing some of the little gems around the place.
