Can having sex help you lose weight?
Dr. Bhargava claims that during a 24-minute (somewhat exaggerated) sex session, a man loses 4.25 calories per minute while his female partner burns roughly 3.1 calories per minute. You'll burn between 60 and 100 calories in those 24 minutes, which is not insignificant but also not excessively so. Therefore, the number of calories we burn off during sex directly correlates to how long our spouse can stay in bed. There's no rush, women!
How much sex should you do to lose weight?
Dr. Bhargava continues, "You'll need to burn between 300 and 400 calories to make it a meaningful calorie burn. In essence, you'd have to engage in sexual activity more than four times every day, which is almost unattainable. Dr. Bhargava makes fun of his followers by joking, "You'll be able to lose weight by having rigorous sex more than four times a day, and you might be happier, but you might eventually lose a partner too (Pun intended*)"
Therefore, it is best to reject the notion that having sex will make you look thinner or cause you to lose a significant amount of weight. Your calorie burn score may increase, but there are different training options one can use to lose weight. To effectively lose weight, try kickboxing, yoga, HIIT, cardio, dancing, or other exercises. These exercise routines not only assist in weight loss but also in enhancing mood and increasing flexibility. This implies that ladies, you'll experience sexual excitement more quickly and have more activity in bed!
