Today - September 6th is "Great Egg Toss Day"

In 1981, Risto Antikainen threw a fresh egg 317 feet, 10 inches (more than the length of a football field). What is more incredible is that Jyrki Korhonen actually caught the egg without breaking it!

So, if you have nothing to do today - have a crack at breaking the record. :)

Given Risto and Jyrki were Finns presumably (based on their names), was the egg in fact frozen solid when they set the record?

I'll probably have eggs and may well engage in tossing something today, but as separate activities.
