I have noticed quite a few ads on Locanto claiming to be Aussie girls but are clearly the Asian bait and switch model.

Was this the unit near the end of Goderich St?

No she was at a hotel on Adelaide Terrace.
I guess they just hope that some guys will just go ahead and do it and I'm sure a percentage do.
 
Just always be prepared to walk away. After a while you know which ads are even worth having a go to find the elusive $150-200 gem and which are super obvious fakes with an unattractive old woman hiding behind the door.

Yesterday I walked from 3 different bookings cos I was feeling adventurous and tried to explore and find some gems by responding to ads I have not tried before. Unfortunately all duds but at least now I have 3 more addresses to put on the blacklist.

And I guess means 3 more addresses have put you on the blacklist too!
But if never returning not mean much I suppose.
Personally have honoured every booking ever made, but have done a few walkouts from shops.
But I'm not very adventurous anyway.
