Hmmm maybe if you ask Mary-Anne nicely but I think she wants to get Darwin set up first before she organizes the girls on a road trip.

No plans at the moment, Darwin completes my triangle, and next year i am 60 need to slow down, not expand. How far is Katherine from Darwin? We can travel up to 300kls for 4 hour plus appointments with advance arrangements.

Katherine is spot on 300km from darwin (if memory stands to serve). It's a fair drive, but you have nitmiluk national park with Katherine Gorge and Edith falls nearby, a nice day trip and swim if you head out that way, with camping and basic facilities at Edith falls or hotels/motels in Katherine if it's a bit too warm during the build up season. Highly recommend Edith falls and Katherine Gorge.
