An unique question but interesting none the less...

A

Annoyance

As you all know satisfying our sexual urges in this day and time can prove quite difficult, but begs the question does our urge wane as time goes on like an addiction to a drug?

At the start I admit it was tough to fight against it, but now after months without it. It just doesn't feel as important as it use to back then before the lockdown, compared to now. Although drop a pair of tits and willing booty, and my tune might change at a drop of a hat. LoL.

The sex industry might lose a fair amount of clients due to the inaction created by this situation we're in.

Thoughts ppl?

I always was told if you don't use it you lose it. But if my hubby is away with work my urges are still strong and I dream about it after a couple of weeks.
If I'm not healthy or have other distractions that can make a difference. As can certain foods.
I have not one doubt once things are happening again (the new normal) the majority of punters will want to make sure it still works properly 😛

"wane" might not be the right turn of phrase but rather "matures". As for loss of punters there is a reason why the sex industry is the oldest industry we have....

Well for me when I was in my teens it was always on my mind, but now since I haven't been so it isn't as much. And to some they wane for longer periods. IE Couples with sexless marriages. That it totally turns them off sex completely.

Then you have ppl who are in a slump, focusing on other things in life to put that urge out of their mind for now. Only to re-ignite that Urge when presented an opportunity to do so.

Hence why I said wane... Like Waxing and Waning of the moon.

But yes the sex industry is one of the oldest industry we have, since not everyone gets their rightful share that they need. And always wanting.

I think it's an interesting question, but for the majority of people things will pick up very quickly. For me, okay I'm 65 and never used the industry much anyway, so I'm no great loss, but I have to say my libido has dropped off in comparison to only 2 months ago.

In the words of George Costanza, "You know, I've been thinking. I cannot envision any circumstances in which I'll ever have the opportunity to have sex again". :)

I agree this enforced celibacy has decreased my sexual urges to an extent but it has made me realise what I crave most is closeness and intimacy.

Well by the looks of it we might be lucky soon as next month might be when the lockdown lifts on the sex industry. Course it differs from each state. There's even talk about getting the cinemas up and running again.
