I think My Hawks will win on the MCG's wide open spaces tonight... with or without Buddy. Goodes is my biggest wrong, playing his best footy at game 300!
 
ahhhh Forest..thanks for starting the thread...all that Rugby this week was not impressing me....lol!

hmmmm...its Goodes 300th game..and I think they deserve to win...however they do have a bad track record at the MCG..

The hawks are carrying a few injuries and strains too, arent they!!

I think the Eagles hands down this week...Carlton have no chance over here...maybe they should have given Fev a second chance for this game...lol!!
 
I am hopeful for the Hawks (Swans have been very Goodes this year) we have such a good season as well.

Blues/Weagles is a toss up for me... comes down to Judd and Kerr... those two worked so well together in days gone by...
 
You could be right...the stats dont lie....

Carlton have won all four of their interstate games this season, with an average margin of 56 points. They've also snatched the points in four of their last five at Patersons Stadium.

But I just think that the Eagles are coming to come out hard and fast...it will be a good game that is for sure!!

Swans are the form team Maybe apart from the cats But the Hawks are not
a top four team for nothing it Will be interesting
Dont know about any body else But I find it hard to be overly interested when my team isn't playing this weekend

I made an afl thread couple of weeks ago...noone posted :(

I hope eagles win! Going for swans anyone that is not VIC =p
 
We had great posts last Saturday....the boys were keeping me posted throughout the day...which was fantastic..thankyou...I hope you do the same tomorrow guys!!!

As a Hawks man I really don't like the Weagles but I hate the Blues "GO EAGLES!!!"
 
Well as a Magpie fan/ member and to some just a man with shocking taste in footy teams
I just can not barrack for the Blues
Anyway forest isnt the main attraction being played on Friday?
 
Next Friday will be very interesting... the Pies have been the best side the two years, I'm just hoping they fall at this huddle :)
 
Only problem is they aint played real good footy for quite a few weeks the pies
and the old mayblooms beat sydney who were in good form
Any way I dont want Saige getting in tome so go Weagles

West Coast v Carlton was a lot closer than I thought it would be, Blues got off to a great start and then stuck with the Eagles, they'll be there or there abouts again next year.
 
Collingwood: the best side of the last two years...

Geelong: the best side of the last five years...

Hawthorn: talented but contends when fit...

West Coast: Last, last year, most improved now that the coach is coaching, great last half on the year.

So thought? Pies V My Hawks and the older Cats V Weagles....

Me, winners = My Hawks (no choice there for me there) and the Cats to end the West Coast's great year.

Pies and Hawks - hate to say it my dear but I think that Colligwood may be the gf winners this year (and it really hurts to say that)

Eagles...I wish so much they go out there...start out hard and run with it and anyting is possible at finals time....I think the cats may just get it past us!!!

Gelong are coming home strong - very good 4-6 weeks. They have managed the skilled and experinced (read older) players very well so that they are peaking right at this moment. I think they're favourites for the flag now.

I hope West Coast smash them though ... :)
 
I'm sure we will get over it... whomever team wins... though the Pies should win I'm still hopeful :)
 
Really the west coast are still the team that gets me this year How can you go from a team that were a team of limp dicks on game day to a team as hard as a porn star

....it is interesting to note that in 1998, Brisbane finished the season last.

In 1999, they finished 3rd and played in the preliminary final only to be beaten by the Kangaroos, who won the grand final. Brisbane lost the semi final in 2000 and then won the premiership between 2001 & 2003.

Not bad for a side that had finished last in 1999.
