Advise on working in NSW

Hi,
I am currently working as a private worker in perth but am planning on moving to NSW in August, I will probably be living around Gosford (but don't mind travelling to Sydney). I was wondering if anyone has any advise on areas that are good for private workers or any establishments that are good to work for.
Any advise or recomendations would be greatly apreciated.
