Madam Leigh

Hi everyone,

I'm Madam Leigh, Mary-Anne’s chief Madam of Canberra. I worked with Mary-Anne for 15 years as the Madam of Kalgoorlie.

I was born in Kalgoorlie, one of 6 children, I was number four, and the second son of my Italian immigrant parents. Yes that’s right! I was born Harry, but always felt a little different, and have lived as a woman since 1969, when I was 19 years of age. I lived and worked in North West, Wickham, Karratha, & Roebourne for many years - still with the dangly bits - but no one knew.

I had the full operation in 1985 and never looked back.

I started in the Industry as Madam Shirley Finn's tea boy, in those days blokes were not allowed to work industry. I did massage whilst working with Shirley, then I went north, and worked as a steward in mine messes.

I went to work with Mary-Anne around 1990 and took over as the Madam of Kalgoorlie. I have many tales to tell, and I'll record them on this forum!
