I have had a request to go and do tour in Darwin by client...just wanted to hear from people up there clients, girls for some feedback, info and advice??

Well, if you do a tour anywhere I believe you should take a leaf out of Crystal's book. (I mean Crystal the self-described "dirty slut" from Sydney).
When she tours she asks for bookings and collects $100 per punter deposited to her Bank account before she flies out. That way there are no last-minute cancellations and any no-shows have at least contributed something for her trouble.

accomodation rates will be down now, need to travel before end of month Darwin is going into overheat and very uncomfortable to readjust unless a 4 to 5 day trip.
Its full of men.

Have not worked that way yet....but this Darwin suggestion has given me thoughts of a "road trip"...yet flying..lol!!

Actually, mary-Anne has made a good point - the weather up North majorly sucks starting around this time of the year. Think 120% humidity, cyclones etc. Wring your shirt out after walking two blocks. Much better from April to September.

If you do decide to come to Darwin now is not that bad, the build up is slow starting this year so its still nice and cool in the evenings and the days havent yet got to be that sticky & sweaty yet.
The Mindel Markets are still operating until the end of October the same with most of the "Tourist" activities.
After the begining of November things change and it tends to just be us locals up here as the wet season sets in and things wind down.
On the plus side accommadation and flights are cheap at the moment
If you are after any info regarding worker friendly motels etc feel free to flick me a pm or email.

I've been working in Adelaide and had heard there was $$$ to be made in Darwin.
I tried to do it myself but wasn't experienced enough, it all fell in a heap, I got ripped off so I decided to go with an agency.
I tried calling Madam Bobbi who I'd messaged on here briefly but she didn't answer her phone so I tried Blondies.
I was really happy with them - saved my arse basically. I'm going back to Darwin in the next couple months (if i make enough I'm going to pop over to Bail for a week too!!)

Im sorry things didnt work out privately for you in Darwin.
Im not sure why you would say that about not answering the phone? The only time that happens is when we are really busy and that is why there is an answering machine to leave a message so i can call you back.
