Message to Stormline

Predictably this wont go down well, but i need to say it because i am going cross-eyed trying to read your posts!

Please try using simple sentences, paragraphs and god-knows-whatever they teach you in English class at primary school to make your posts more readable!

I'm sure you have a point to get across, but when i try to read your posts i am seriously cross-eyed before i get to the point.

I end up giving up and just resort to imagining what you wanted to say by the replies you get, because (maybe its just me) but i feel mentally challenged to get to the end of your (500 word plus sentence) blog.

I know you will shoot me down for this post, and others will too. No worries. But i bet though i am not the only one with visual challenges when i comes to reading your posts, if anyone dares to admit it.

I dont just hold criticism to your post layout - i buy books according to how they are typeset and written. This isnt personal so dont brand it as such.

Please just put paragraphs, and short sentences; 'editing' to make your opinions more readable.

I agree Sienna, and if it wasnt for the hooha about moderating posts, I would have taken my cursor to all of the posts myself to make them more readable.

Its so frustrating to try to read, so in the end I give up and end up not reading the post at all.

Its amazing what a difference adding a line skip between paragraphs or thoughts can make to a post.

Well thats about when i got kicked out of school and made a life out of doing something i loved. SO if you are reallly good at english, congratulations.

As for you Trailblazer if you were on the forum a little more you would already know that i have admitted i have a problem with english and with some help from other people, not people putting shit on me about it i have learnt a few things about the computer and how to make my posts easier to read.

there is alot of other things i could say especially to you (COUPLE) though i dont see the point.

So Trailblazer , Sienna. Why dont you read a few more posts on here and you would have had no need to put the thread up,or maybe its because i said i wouldnt pay $450 to see you.As i have seen as good or better for alot less.Only my point of view.

Maybe thats why you put it up as if you would have read my posts you would of known they have been edited by StaceynDave.Also with alot of help from MacnOrphi..

Hi Sioxie, thank you for your encouragement.No i wil still add my opinion when a thread interests me. As i've said i already know i have a problem with english and have said it on another thread.

I am still trying to understand how the computer works and what diferent key strokes do. So being very uneducated at alot of subjects that relate to school i am trying with some help from very nice people.

Going to school in the 60's and 70's when corprol punishment was still in our schools, didnt really help my knowledge. So i guess they thought it was easier just to make me leave. So where i do come from where the school overlooked one of the best surfing spots in the world some would understand the road i took.

I had over 20 years of some of the best times of my life surfing and for those that know how to surf properly, theres been a question asked and answered by many,getting inside a 10 to 12ft perfect wave is as good as having an orgasm.

Just to add my two bob's worth, I can see one spelling mistake in Stormline's latest post here but the rest is pretty well spot on. Even my pedantic old English teacher would be hard put to fault it so keep up the good work

I remember in my late high school/early university days that it used really get my nose that the kids who submitted neatly typed & formatted documents always got better marks than the kids who hand wrote the papers they submitted (I guess it shows my age!!!).

Sadly presentation does make a difference for amny people.

Personally, I try very hard to base my views on the substance of what's written.

I fail to see what is so offensive about the above quote.
We have been involved with several adult forums over the years and it's a well known fact that young teenage boys often infiltrate these sites. (Nobody asked to see our drivers licenses or birth certificates when we joined here).
It's usually their poor spelling, grammar and linguistic skills that give them away. They also tend to contribute zero original pics to a forum while always asking other members for more....you know the story."hey babe, that was a great pic. Got any more"..stuff like that.
Not having a go. We were just making an observation based on our previous internet forum experiences.

As there pics are always done with alot of imagination.

I used to enjoy the 'challenge' of reading your old style of posting as there were nuggets of information somewhere within, the question was could you find it?. I found that I always could so never found it a problem, maybe I just have some patience.

I was not born here so must say that I have never surfed, but at times I have watched and admired the skill of those who do; and now I know it is surfers trying to experience an orgasm!!.
