C2 incomplete quadriplegic won landmark court case against insurer!

Hi I'm David a C2 incomplete quadriplegic with central cord syndrome and I read a thread called Insight into sex with that person with disability part 1. It opened my eyes alot as I've been trying to find a site to talk to people similar to myself with the same issues about sex. I'm currently not in a relationship but I feel like I've got alot to give both emotionally and sexually to the right girl, I'm currently struggling to meet someone who can see me for who I am and not for my disability but I know the right persons out there so at the moment I'm enjoying myself and seeing private escorts exploring my sexuality in this new body I found myself in.
From 1997 until 2002 I was an aspiring chef at a leading restaurant in Sydney [I'd say which one but it might reveal my identity] until I had a car accident on the way home from work. Since then I've won a landmark case through workers compensation which states that my insurance company GIO now has to pay for me to see an escort once a week [I am the first person to win such a ruling] for anyone in a similar situation who thinks they might benefit from seeing an escort contact me and I'll pass on my details so you can use my court case as a precedent, if you leave your e-mail address someone in your post requesting the court case details I'll e-mail them to you as I think this should be granted to all quadriplegics who wish to have a sex life.
My reasoning for lodging and winning such a claim was because at the time I was in a steady relationship regularly having sex until I had my accident when I went to not being able to continue said relationship.... [for personal reasons]. Being a quadriplegic I am luckily still left with normal sexual control and a healthy sex drive, which is quite rare [and frustrating at times] but unlike in Bronzed's thread I was left with full bladder control and I'm lucky enough to not need catheterisation especially after having a super-pubic catheter while I was in hospital, now I just need a eurodome [like a condom attached to a cord and bag] all because I can't get up and go to the toilet like an able-bodied person can.
Unlike in Bronzed's thread I don't get dysreflexic as I have sensation all over my body [thanks to being incomplete] as from the time of my injury I've continued to get better until a certain point in which I don't think I'll get any better until stem cell research goes further [no thanks to George Bush's eight years in office blocking stem cell research] but that's another story don't get me started on that!
When I first had my injury I couldn't feel or move anything below my chin for one month until one day I wiggled my toes and from that day I gradually after a lot of pain and hard work got more and more movement back up my legs [which is typical in central cord syndrome] but I'm unable to walk due to lack of strength and balance so basically they are just good for adjusting myself in bed and walking my wheelchair around a bit and also doing standing transfers, but as far as my arms go they have remained pretty much useless as far as not being able to feed or scratch myself goes.
Now comes a time when finally after eight years of me staying indoors and struggling to cope with my disability I've finally accepted that this is how I am now [for the fore-seeable future anyway] and I want to get out there and meet people like myself and girls who are accepting of guys in wheelchairs who are interested in exploring their sexuality as disabled people and maybe find a meeting place where sexually active disabled people can meet disability accepting like-minded others [ie partners and friends] in a friendly non-judging atmosphere where people can feel free to be themselves.
If there are any individuals who are especially accepting of quadriplegics and looking to meet me or any escorts in the Brisbane area who are looking to get a semi-regular client for fun times please write a post and I'll get back to you!
Please ask any questions as I'm not backward in coming forward and post any links of other forums like this where I can get in contact with others.
Bye for now Dave.
