A model who was handed 400 hours of community service for attacking two police officers has refused to fulfil her punishment, saying the work makes her "too tired". Sophie Dalzell was sentenced to do the unpaid work in 2012 and still had about 180 hours of work to do, the Manchester Evening News reported. However, the 20-year-old said that the 8am to 4pm work schedules were "a waste of a day" and that she couldn't fulfil the duties. She was required to pick up litter and rake leaves. Dalzell, who had also missed probation meetings so she could get breast enlargement surgery in Sweden, had not carried out any of the work in seven months. “To me, my boobs and my appearance are more important than the law because my career depends on it," Dalzell told the Manchester Evening News. “The most I work is usually around two days a week.
“I don’t think the courts should be able to put me on community service because I find it too hard and tiring. “The days are too long and the work is too physical for me, compared to what I’m used to.” The woman has been no stranger to trouble in the past two years. Dalzell faced court last week for missing two probation appointments in January. She got off the charge after providing a letter from her doctor which revealed she had breast augmentation surgery at the time. She was also fined for refusing to wear an electronic tag in a different case.
