This week I read the adult personals section of the Saturday paper and was very surprised to see the sheer volume of Asian working ladies advertising. A phenomenal amount. I'd say at least 80% of adverts are from Asian ladies.

It made me wonder why.

Are Asian ladies simply more open to the idea of becoming a WL?

Is this how Asian students support themselves?

Is this what some Asian ladies do with their holiday visas?

Or worse, do some Asian ladies secure a student visa with the sole intent of making more money here than they could at home, with no intention of studying at all?

Does anyone have any insight into the reason why so many adverts are from Asian ladies and how this has come about?

Has it always been this way?
